Cory finishes 6th Overall in Northeast Region! (Oct. 12th, 2002)
The final championship race of the 2002 race season is over and it sure went out with a bang! Heavy wind and rain postponed the Northeast Regional Championship race from Friday October 11th to Saturday the12th in Bethel CT. More rain threatened to postpone it again on Saturday, but the skys let up just enough to get the race in. There were just a few 7 Novices, (how about 14 of 'em!) so they had to be separated into three different motos, with a semi deciding who would move on to the main event. This was sure to be a challenging day with the number of awesome racers, the weather and the track conditions, but Cory held on like a true champ. He made it out of his motos to make the semi event, but that's where his day would end. With the rain shortening the event to a two-moto system, there was no margin for error and after a cool, wet and long day, who could blame him. Coming into the event he was ranked 6th in the Northeast region and could not catch up in points to any rider ahead of him no matter what he did. Likewise, no other rider behind him could catch up to his 6th place points, so win, loose or draw, 6th place was his. And that is where the 2002 NBL race season would end for Cory. Thank you to everyone that supported him in 2002, including the many family, friends and sponsors that believed in him. He'll be back in 2003 faster than ever! Cory's final 2002 rankings are as follows:

National ranking: 32nd
Northeast Regional Champion: 6th
NJ State Champion: 2nd

Coryhouse.com joins nationwide Amber Alert Network! (Oct. 4th, 2002)
Within the next few weeks www.coryhouse.com will be updating their homepage to include an Amber Alert ticker. This Amber Alert ticker will display emergency alert information about an aducted child when issued by the nationwide system. The goal is to help spread the message about an Amber Alert issued by the authories of any state, to as many people as possible across the nation. In doing so, we hope to help bring that child home safely. When this Amber Alert ticker is not broadcasting an actual alert, it will tell people where to go for information about adding the ticker to their own webpage. Of course, we pray that the ticker will never have to be used, but we're proud to be a part of this network and stand ready to assist if it is ever needed. Go to www.codeamber.org to learn more about the nationwide Amber Alert Network and you can play a part!
