Pedal Militia meets Team Diamond in Westmoreland!
(May 17 & 18 , 2003)
Could it have been the influence of his
new-found friends from Michigan's Team Diamond, who just about perfected
the entire weekend, that sparked Cory to an unbelievable finish this
weekend? Or was it that Pedal Militia team jersey that inspired him
once again? Maybe it was a combination, but either way, Cory made a
statement this weekend with some fantastic results. On Saturday there
was a full line-up of 7Ns as there were a total of 10 riders - 5 per
moto. After winning the 1st moto on Saturday, Cory posted an
outstanding 2nd place in the second and third rounds. Saturday's Main
event was a full gate of 8 riders and Cory rocketed home to a 2nd place
finish after starting from gate 8. Sunday was tough. After a night of
rain on Saturday night the track was wet and the race delayed by about
an hour. Cory grabbed 2nd place in all three motos but a 3-rider crash
in the Main forced him to settle for a 5th place finish out of a 7-rider
Main event. Overall, an outstanding weekend in the mountains of western
Pennsylvania.

Happy Mother's Day Mom!
(May 10 & 11th, 2003)
In addition to his debut on Team Pedal Militia, Cory gave Mom (and the
Team) a special treat for Mom's Day this weekend......3 moto wins on
Saturday and a 1st Place on Sunday to start the NJ State Series at Egg
Harbor BMX! After a win on Sunday, Cory treated Mom to a day at the
beach in Ocean City for some mini golf, arcades and go-karts, not to
mention ice cream, pizza and other boardwalk goodies. Here's the rundown
